<p>Amitriptyline is widely used and effective medicine to treat the depression. Also Amitriptyline is used to treat nocturnal enuresis /bed wetting/, chronic or frequent migraines and to relief pain.</p>
<p>How Taken</p>
<p>Follow you doctor’s directions, read the medical guidance before using. If experience stomach pain &#8211; take Amitriptyline with meal. Try to not miss the dose and use Amitriptyline at the same time each day. Don’t use alcohol during the treatment course, and avoid eating grapefruit (or grapefruit juice). Usual dosage of Amitriptyline varies from 25 mg up to 75mg per day.</p>

<p>Amitriptyline is a white color, odorless crystalline compound that manufactured in a tablet form; it is a tri-cyclic antidepressant. Amitriptyline is easy to use and well tolerated drug.</p>
<p>Missed Dose</p>
<p>Take the missed dose of Amitriptyline as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if its time for the next dose; don’t take extra Amitriptyline to make up the missed dose, ask your doctor.</p>
<p>Possible Side Effects</p>
<p>Common side effects of Amitriptyline are: dry mouth, loss of appetite, muscle stiffness, nausea, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, urinary retention, headache, sexual desire changes (low sex drive), diarrhea, weakness, trouble sleeping and tiredness. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects troubling you. Call medical care service if: allergic reaction appears (mouth, lips, face or tongue swelling; rash, hives, itching), or if chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, aggressiveness, impulsiveness, anxiety, panic, ringing in the ears, uncontrolled muscles movement, hallucinations, confusion, difficulties with speaking, high fever, rapid vision changes, mental or mood changes, skin color changes, legs or arms swelling and depression worsening.</p>
